Chess Park

Pocket park beside the historic Volusia County Courthouse featuring concrete chess tables, a life-size chess board (giant pieces checked out via City Hall Administrative Services, Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, deposit required), a water wall, and a small stage for cultural events. Built by the county in 2009 and deeded to the city. — DeLand proper (downtown)
