Enforces the City of DeLand Code of Ordinances. Per Florida SB 60 (effective 2021-07-01), officers cannot open investigations from anonymous complaints — reporters must give name and address. Does not handle noise or overnight on-street parking complaints (call Police at 386-626-7400). Special Magistrate max fines: $250/day, $500/day for repeat violations.
