COA delivers lunchtime meals to homebound seniors county-wide and serves congregate meals at nutrition centers including DeLand; volunteer drivers and meal servers regularly needed.

No-kill 501(c)(3) animal shelter serving Volusia County since the 1950s. Volunteers (18+) walk dogs, socialize cats, and help with facility tasks; youth groups (Scouts, 4H, FFA) welcome for community projects. Schedule orientation by phone or in person.
